NIC. J. THEOCARAKIS S.A. was founded in 1965 as a “natural continuation” of Nicholaos Theocharakis’ private enterprise (since 1924), having undertaken the exclusive representation (import and distribution) of NISSAN cars in Greece. This was also the first official representation of NISSAN MOTOR CO. in Europe since 1961, where it was undertaken by the sole proprietorship of Nicholaos Theocharakis. From the beginning, NIC. J. THEOCARAKIS S.A. was the flagship of the Group. In a few years, the exceptional reliability, the high quality and the competitive pricing of Nissan passenger cars and pickup trucks (marketed under the Datsun trademark at the time) made their impression on the Greek market and the name NIC. J. THEOCARAKIS S.A. in Greece was to be inseparably linked with that of Nissan.

THEOCARAKIS S.A. was founded in 1959, being the first Societe Anonyme Company of the Group, with the distribution of YOKOHAMA tires being its first commercial activity, which have been represented by the sole proprietorship of Nikolaos Theocharakis since 1957. Since then, the company has been continuously enriching its product portfolio, representing prominent brands in the business sectors of tyres and agricultural machinery (tractors, combine harvesters, plows, planters, etc.).
